2009 exhibits:

Mid-November through December: Christmas items from around the world. On generous loan.

     

October through mid-November:  Four-H Club memorabilia, both local and national.

 

 

January - March: African art from the collections of the Smith Memorial United Methodist Church.

April - June. "A Nice Place for Ladies to Work": Historical memorabilia from the Blue Bell Company, makers of Wrangler products including jeans, and a long-time Lenoir business.

    (Leg hem of bell-bottom pants.)

July - Sept:: Caldwell County baseball memorabilia from the collection of Kevin LeFevres.  Focus on the Lenoir Red Sox (1948-1952)along with other Lenoir and Caldwell County teams.

    

 

2008 exhibits:

   

  • December: "Away in a manger."  Nativity scenes from the collection of Mrs. Bob Booth, on generous loan for the exhibit.

  • October - November: "Mark you ballots, cast your vote." Political history items from the Museum's permanent collection.

  • July - September: "Swing your partner." Square dancing memorabilia from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Runion, donated to the Museum by their son.

  • April - June: "Going Fishing." Fishing gear from the collection of Bill Everhardt, on generous loan.

  • January - March: "It's in the bag." Ladies' purses from the collections of Barbara Watson and Kathryne Jackson, on generous loan.
