2009 and 2010 Christmas card sales at the Museum gift shop.

Every year the Museum commissions a Christmas card design featuring local landmarks of recent (20th century) Lenoir history. These cards are sold at the Museum and other venues around Lenoir, and are also available by mail from the Museum. All four of the following cards are available this year (2010).

The buildings used as models for the cards still exist, one way or another.

The Museum's 2010 Christmas card features "A Kentwood Christmas" by Dustin Turnmyre.

The Kentwood Drive-In building
survives as a hair salon.

In 2009, the Christmas card was "Christmas at the Center Theatre in the 1940's" by Sarah Akins.

The Center movie theatre was in operation from the 1940's to the 1990's.

The theatre now sits unused downtown.

The 2008 card: “Christmas at the Red Pig” by Dustin Turnmyre.

The diner, abandoned for some years,
re-opened in late 2010.

"Christmas at the Museum" by Dustin Turnmyre is available every year.

The last extant building of Davenport College continues in use (since 1991) as the Caldwell Heritage Museum.
