Mission and officers of the Museum

    The purpose of the Caldwell Heritage Museum is to educate, research, and preserve the history of Caldwell County through educational services and exhibits for our contemporary society and passing its material culture to future generations. 

   Support 

            The Caldwell Heritage Museum is supported by private contributions from individuals and groups, by grants and donations from governmental organizations and private foundations, and by the sale of historic and gift items.  The Museum is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501C(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

Cooperation 

            The Caldwell Heritage Museum cooperates with other museums, historical groups, and organizations whose purpose is the preservation of history and culture.  The Museum cooperates with all governmental and law enforcement agencies.  The Museum does not give private information about any individual connected with the museum (including board members and donors) without the permission of that individual except under due penalty of law. 

Board of Directors 

            The Caldwell Heritage Museum is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are elected by the Caldwell County Historical Society.  The decisions made by the Board of Directors regarding the Museum are final.
