Subject: This is the Thomas Leroy Barlow and Elizabeth Apaline Ferguson Barlow Family.
Uncle Thomas and Aunt App are the parents (couple front
left). John Zebulon Barlow (1862-1932) is the oldest son, in the
back row (middle left). They homesteaded in Ferguson
NC [in Wilkes County. Picture from mid-1890's, date assumed
from clothing styles and apparent age of youngest son.]
They married Dec.
2, 1859.
Children of THOMAS
BARLOW (28 Jul 1836 in
Wilkes NC - 1898?) and ELIZABETH (App) FERGUSON (Sept.4, 1838 - 1Jan.31,
1928:

born 14 October 1860 and died 27 November 1923. She
married CELPHUS FINLEY ANDREWS on 13 September 1883

JOHN ZEBULON
BARLOW, born 25 June 1862, and died 27 November 1932,
burial in Riverside Community Church, Beaverdam, Hanover Co
Virginia, along with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law.
He married FRANCES LOUELLEN SWANSON in 1892.

THOMAS
STONEMAN BARLOW, born 21 January 1866 and died 11
February 1958, burial in Riverside Community Church,
Beaverdam, Hanover Co Virginia.

JAMES BARLOW,
born 20 May 1868. No further information. One
family legend has it that he ran off to California and never
came back after being heartbroken when his fianceé married
another man.

RUFUS BARTLETT
BARLOW, born 07 March 1871, and died on 13 January
1902. He married AMELIA ROSETTA WALKER.

She married RICHARD ANDERSON SHARPE.
