For the
past several years the Caldwell Heritage Museum has produced
a township calendar that each year has featured different old-time pictures
from each of the thirteen townships in Caldwell County.
The calendars have been very well received and usually sell
out. We are doing another calendar for 2011 and we
plan to have copies ready to sell at our Fifth
Sunday Open House on October 31.
For 2011 we are adding a new calendar feature, as a small
fund-raising project that will also be something you can
enjoy all year. For the minimal sum of $2.00 each,
we will print
on the appropriate days
your birthdays, anniversaries, or any
other significant event. You must make (and pay for!) these
requests no later than
September 15, 2010 to have the dates included. (We will
specify a year with the date only if you ask us to.)
The 2010 calendar sold for $8.00, and the 2011 price will be similar
(maybe $8.50?) depending on printing costs.

Museum
members will of course receive the usual 15% member
discount on whatever they purchase through the gift
shop, including calendars.

However,
if you are not yet a member but do purchase listings in
the calendar, you will still receive a 10% discount on
as many of those calendars as you want.

And, the
people you list are eligible for those discounts too!
That is, if you list
your grandmother's birthday, your grandmother will also
receive the 10% discount if she buys a calendar - unless
she herself is already a member of course.
So, buy a lot
of the calendars,
highlight your own dates in festive colors, and give the
calendars as gifts!
In addition, if you are the person who requests the most
dates, you will receive your choice of $25 in cash or in
Museum gift shop merchandise.
